A Valentine’s-themed event in support of Kudzu’s spring print issue!

Have you ever wanted to attend a reading event with a perfect mixture of love, vintage looks, and the mystic arts? Look no further than The Kudzu Review’s Reading & Open Mic Night on Tuesday, February 15th! Between 7:00-9:00pm at The Bark, this Valentine’s-themed event will include tarot readings by Dr. Caputi, blind-date-with-a-book, and other festivities. The event will also feature readers from Issue 67, as well as open mic slots for any attendee!
Our Reading & Open Mic Night is free, open to everyone, and a great networking opportunity with members of The Kudzu Review and of the English Department.
This event will offer:
- Romantic poetry & swoon-worthy stories
- Tarot readings by an English professor
- Valentine’s desserts and refreshments
- Vintage & handmade items
- Blind-date-with-a-book
- Merch from local coffee shops
- Poems-on-demand by our Poetry section
All proceeds support The Kudzu Review and our goal of publishing a print issue this spring!
If you wish to sign-up for an open mic slot, add your name to the list now! All open mic slots will be first come, first serve in order of the sign-up sheet, and space is limited. If you have any questions about this event, please feel free to email the Editor-in-Chief at kudzu.fsu@gmail.com.
Hope to see you there!
